Privacy and analytics
This notice explains what FindKerala.com collects, why, and for how long.
Visitors
We record anonymous usage events: page views, searches, and clicks on a listing's WhatsApp, phone, email, website or directions buttons. Each event stores the time, the page or listing, a broad traffic source (for example "search engine"), and a device type (mobile, tablet or desktop).
We do not store IP addresses or browser details with these events. To avoid counting the same visit twice, events carry a code calculated from your IP address and browser together with a secret that changes every day; the code cannot be turned back into your IP address, and we cannot follow you from one day to the next. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party trackers or fingerprinting. The only cookie we set is the session cookie the site needs to work.
We use these figures to show businesses how their listings perform, to see which destinations people look for, and to improve the directory. Raw events are deleted after about 13 months; totals in reports may be kept longer.
Enquiries
When you send an enquiry, your name, email, phone (if given) and message are stored and sent to that business so it can reply. We keep enquiries so the business can see them in its dashboard.
Businesses
We store account details, listing content, and, for advertisers, billing details and payment records. Card and UPI payments are handled by Razorpay; we never receive or store card numbers. Financial records are kept as long as the law requires.
